Garfunkel's Speakeasy
A full service mixology bar located on the 2nd floor above The Burgary, Garfunkel’s is heavily focused on spirit-forward concoctions (both new and old) that whet the palate or stimulate digestion. Lucinda Sterling’s menu places strong influence on gin and whiskey. Standout cocktails include the TNT (tequila, Ancho Reyes, tamarind and habanero bitters) and the 1933 (aged rum, pear liqueur, angostura and black mission fig bitters), as well as a host of other delicious concoctions.
The speakeasy owes its name to the felonious private bankers-turned–criminal fugitives, Garfunkel & Tauster, who originally used the location as their corrupt bank firm in the 1920’s. To remind guests of the building’s exciting history, a functional bank vault door is used as the entrance into the wonderful Gatsby-esque speakeasy. Guests with reservations will be given priority entry along with the vault passkey, which changes every night.

Garfunkel's Speakeasy can be rented for the afternoon (12p-5p) and/or evening (6p-4a), 7 days a week. The speakeasy seats up to 60 or 75 standing.
Garfunkel's Speakeasy has a vintage feel, velvet furniture and features experts behind the bar. We are happy to customize the food and drink menu to meet your specifications, so please give us a call and see how we can make your party both effortless to plan and memorable for all of your guests. Please note, Afternoon Tea seated service has a 25 person maximum or 40 buffet-style.
The Burgary on the first floor is also available for private parties.
